The Hudson/Park N.A. is based in Albany, New York. The Association works to foster community in our neighborhood. We meet from September through June on the third Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Israel A.M.E. Church, 381 Hamilton Street. We also sponsor neighborhood events. Spring Clean Up and BBQ

Saturday, April 26, we will have our annual Spring Cleanup and Neighborhood BBQ. The cleanup will begin at 8 a.m. and will be followed by a Neighborhood BBQ at the Hudson/Jay Turnaround Park beginning at 12 noon. More details to come. This event is co-sponsored by the Hudson/Park Neighborhood Association and Center Square Association, with assistance from the City of Albany's Department of General Services.

Lark Street Area Neighborhoods Stoop Sale

The Lark Street Business Improvement District in partnership with the Center Square Neighborhood Association, Hudson-Park Neighborhood Association, Park-South Neighborhood Association and Washington Park Neighborhood Association will be hosting a community-wide garage sale on Saturday, May 3rd from 10am-5pm. Residents are encouraged to participate by hosting their own garage/yard/porch/stoop sales at this time, and merchants are encouraged to participate as well by having sidewalk sales.

Winter Brunch

The annual Hudson/Park Neighborhood Association Winter brunch will take place on January 27 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Senior Services Center, 25 Delaware Ave. All are welcome at this free event. Please bring something to share.

Blue Moon Awards

On November 17, the Hudson/Park Neighborhood Association held its annual Blue Moon Awards in which it honored various individuals and organizations who have made significant contributions to our community.

The 2007 awardees were:

- Mike Tierney, Department of General Services
